Checkout as guest
If you’re logged into your ShopPay account, make sure to select the “Check Out as a Guest” option. TrueMed payments are not processed through ShopPay, so this step is essential to use your HSA/FSA funds.

3
Using Your HSA/FSA Card
Complete your purchase by verifying your HSA/FSA card details. Our secure system ensures your benefits are applied correctly.

4
Take a Brief Health Survey
TrueMed will guide you through a short health survey. Answer questions about your HSA/FSA and your health to confirm eligibility for reimbursement.

5
Complete Checkout through Truemed
We recommend paying with a credit/debit card, and then reimbursing yourself with HSA/FSA funds after checking out for the best chance of success.

6
Receive your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)
A licensed medical provider will review your responses and Truemed will send you a Letter of Medical Necessity if you qualify.

How does using my HSA/FSA account save me money?
HSA and FSA accounts were designed to help you invest in your health with pre-tax dollars. That means more buying power for the things that keep you moving, recovering, and performing at your best. Instead of paying taxes on your income first, qualified customers can use pre-tax funds directly to cover eligible health expenses.
Here’s what you can contribute each year:
• Up to $4,150 pre-tax to an HSA for individuals, or $8,300 for families (plus an extra $1,000 if you’re 55 or older).
• Up to $3,200 pre-tax to an FSA, with an additional $500 allowed in employer contributions.

Frequently Asked Questions
HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) are tax-advantaged accounts that allow you to use pre-tax dollars for eligible health-related expenses. Eligibility and usage rules vary depending on your insurance plan and administrator.
For Sleepal, TrueMed® guides eligible customers through a brief health survey to assess qualification based on individual needs. After completing the process, you’ll receive clear instructions on how to pay with HSA/FSA funds or request reimbursement.
HSA/FSA eligibility depends on your individual situation and your plan administrator’s rules. Certain Sleepal products may qualify when purchased for health-related reasons and approved through the TrueMed® eligibility process.
Eligibility is determined during checkout or by completing the TrueMed® survey.
Yes. If eligible, you can use your HSA or FSA card at checkout by selecting TrueMed® as your payment option and completing the required eligibility survey.
Important: Please use Guest Checkout (not Shop Pay), as Shop Pay may prevent HSA/FSA authorization.
If your HSA/FSA balance is insufficient, you can pay the remaining amount using a personal credit or debit card. Split payments are supported.
If your order contains both HSA/FSA-eligible and ineligible items, your HSA/FSA card will be applied only to the eligible portion. Any remaining balance must be paid using another payment method.
This can happen for several reasons, including:
Your HSA/FSA plan does not approve the purchase
Insufficient funds in your account
Temporary authorization issues with your plan administrator
If this occurs, you may try another payment method or contact TrueMed® or your HSA/FSA administrator for more details. You can also complete the TrueMed® survey to request reimbursement if applicable.
