Limited Warranty Policy

At Sleepal, we’re committed to the quality and reliability of our products. This Limited Warranty Policy explains your rights and our obligations for products purchased within the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) through www.sleepal.ai or authorized Sleepal partners.

1. Warranty Coverage

Sleepal warrants that your Sleepal device and included accessories (the “Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period listed below.

This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and does not affect or limit your statutory rights under applicable EU or UK consumer protection laws.

Warranty begins on the original purchase date. Recipient may need to provide proof of purchase.

Demo / Promotional Units

Not covered unless expressly stated by Sleepal in writing.

Units provided for testing, display, or marketing are excluded.

Proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order confirmation) is required to validate warranty eligibility.

3. Extended Warranty Plans

For eligible devices, customers may purchase an Extended Warranty Plan within 30 days of original purchase.

Available extensions include:

+1 Year or +2 Years of additional coverage (paid).

These plans extend your total coverage period up to three (3) years from the original purchase date.

Terms and availability vary by region and retailer.

4. What This Warranty Covers

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, Sleepal will, at its discretion:

Repair

the Product using new or refurbished parts;

Replace

the Product with a new or equivalent model; or

Refund

the original purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.

Any repaired or replacement product is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer.

5. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear (such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time), cosmetic damage (including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports), or surface scratches;

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, liquid contact, or accidents;

Improper installation, maintenance, or operation contrary to Sleepal’s instructions;

Damage from power surges, lightning, or environmental exposure;

Unauthorized modification, repair, or alteration of any kind;

Use with third-party accessories, adapters, or power supplies not approved by Sleepal;

Software or app-related issues not caused by hardware malfunction;

Loss or corruption of data, sleep records, or personal information.

Note: Sleepal products are wellness and lifestyle devices, not medical equipment. They should not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any medical condition.

Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, other than Sleepal, may provide their own warranties to you – please contact them for further information. Sleepal does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Sleepal is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product’s use.

6. Gift & Demo Units

Gift Units:

Warranty begins on the date of the original purchase by the gift giver. The recipient must provide proof of purchase to receive service.

Demo / Promotional Units:

Devices provided for marketing, testing, or demonstration purposes (including “Not for Resale” or “Sample” units) are not covered unless expressly stated in writing by Sleepal or required by applicable law.

7. How to Obtain Warranty Service

If you experience a product issue covered under this Warranty:

Contact Sleepal Support at support@sleepal.com

Provide your order number, proof of purchase, product serial number (if available), and a description of the issue.

Sleepal may request photos, videos, or diagnostic details to verify the claim.

If approved, we’ll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.

Please return the item in its original or equivalent protective packaging. Sleepal covers shipping costs for the repaired or replacement unit back to you.

7. How to Obtain Warranty Service

If you experience a product issue covered under this Warranty:

Contact Sleepal Support at support@sleepal.com

Provide your order number, proof of purchase, product serial number (if available), and a description of the issue.

Sleepal may request photos, videos, or diagnostic details to verify the claim.

If approved, we’ll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.

Ship the product securely packaged. Sleepal will cover the cost of returning the repaired or replacement unit to you.

8. Warranty Service Options

Depending on your case and location, Sleepal may provide:

Repair Service

– conducted at an authorized Sleepal service facility;

Replacement Service

– a new or refurbished unit of equal performance;

Refund

– the original purchase price refunded to your payment method if repair/replacement is not feasible.

Sleepal reserves the right to use refurbished or equivalent components for repairs.

9. Limitation of Liability

Except as provided in this warranty and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

Sleepal’s total liability under this Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product;

Sleepal shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, sleep data, or profits;

All implied warranties are limited to the same duration as this Limited Warranty, unless otherwise required by law.

Nothing in this policy limits Sleepal’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Your Statuotory Rights

This Limited Warranty provides specific legal rights. In addition, you may have rights under UK or EU consumer law, such as:

In the EU, consumers are protected by a two-year legal guarantee under Directive (EU) 2019/771.

In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires that goods be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

Where these statutory rights offer greater protection, they override this Limited Warranty.

11. Policy Updates

Sleepal reserves the right to modify or update this Limited Warranty Policy at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website and will take effect on the date posted above.
